There are heaps of women who can pee standing up including myself without aid.
For years I've always found that hover or squat uncomfortable and sometimes it sprays for some reason (stress) and I often ended up getting nasty cystitis from hover or squat because it doesn't empty the bladder completely. So I decided to learn to pee upright for bit over couple of months ago and I have not had any bladder infection at all. I find pee upright is easier, quicker and clean.
