I believe Richard Jeni put it best:

"I always look for a woman who has a tattoo. I see a woman with a tattoo, and I'm thinking, OK, here's a gal who's capable of making a decision she'll regret in the future."

I, personally, prefer my women au natural, but have no serious qualms about a woman wanting to express herself, even it be with permanent ink as artwork; it serves as a reminder of who she wants to makes herself out to be. Only when it may spread across to me is where I draw the line.
