well, the trick to it is putting a finger on either side of the clit and pulling slightly up and out. you practice in the shower (aim for drain) first. keep a strong , steady stream throughout to avoid dripping and spraying. don't let it peter off, just stop forcefully. you will get the "spreading angle" after some experimentation.
the first time i tried, i mis-aimed and sprayed it all over the wall behind the toilet...
