Sticky, that is The Narrows, which is the entrance to St. John's harbour, quite possibly the finest (and narrowest) harbour in North America. I was standing on The Battery when I took that shot looking toward Fort Amherst.

thats the battery on the left of the narrows where the little buildings are, and Cabot Tower is up on top of the Battery where Marconi received the first transatlantic wireless signal. the battery is the most primo real estate in all of St. John's. It used to be (and still is in some places) old fish shacks and stages, but the land they sit on is selling for upwards of $500K.
