Strange line up - Oz played 6 bowlers (given 2 squad injuries and Gilly still in transit, I guess we picked what we had available). Actually looked like a 12 man lineup, so not really a proper ODI - maybe we are still on a losing streak
Aussies chances for the tournament rest on the return of Symonds from injury. With he, ponting and clarke missing from the NZ trip our fielding looked rather pedestrian. I think we are unlikely to get beaten after posting big totals in WI like we did in NZ.
Favourites? probably Oz and SA. I don't think England really have turned a corner ~ more that Oz was dropping off at the end of our summer...
