Ziadel, I read an article in Guns and Ammo or one of the other mags a few years back where they tested a variety of ammunition and calibers when fired through brush. There basic conclusion was that no bullet, whether heavy and slow or fast and light performed any better when deflected than any other.
It does seem that a one ounce shotgun slug would resist being knocked off course or disentgrating better than a light bullet but they couldn't prove it.
woo, I know how you feel. Sometimes you just want a new gun. I got a new rifle a year ago so now I have a craving for a new handgun even though I really don't need one.
