Funny stuff. Oddly, I know the guy that is the voice at the end of the commercials. He makes a mint doing those tags.
As for the sitcom... could work but I tend to see Bill's suggested scenario as the most likely one.
...I wonder if Geico is going to help pay for the production budget on the series.
