Seriously, she obviously has some sort of mental issues to be attaching that quickly and that deeply. Even if she wanted it for years, I doubt she would have been able to start talking about marriage because she would wait to see your reaction first.
kudos to you for telling her how it was and backing out of it. It was a disaster waiting to happen.
