Just for the record, an M-1A1 Would eat a T-80's lunch. The M1A2 SEP would then proceed to kick it's teeth in, steal it's lunch money, and have rough sex with it's mom.
No comparison between the platforms at all.
The only tank worth a damn that the Russians have is the T-80UM2, and to date they have been able to afford to build about 3 of them. Wow.
