I'll second this. Spaced is one of my favorite TV comedies of all time. And it's not just Simon Pegg that connects the two - Edgar Wright as director, Nick Frost as actor and Nira Park as producer. Shaun of the Dead has tons of references to Spaced (and bizarrely enough, Spaced even has a reference to Shaun!
).
