I think that "misinformed" or "not well enough informed" can be confused as closed-minded, at times. I think this is mostly due to the fact that not everyone shares your desire to be more well-informed about things they talk about. Many are satisfied to talk on about something knowing full-well they are not fully informed, and don't care to be.
As for the "LSD" (supposed to be LDS), an ex of mine was Mormon, and I used to make that typo CONSTANTLY. lol...
