I don't think it's a conscious dislike, so much as a simple observation of whether or not a person of that religion would have a value system compatible with what someone would accept as a president.
Being open and talking about this is the best way to accomplish being progressive, not all agreeing with each other because we all want to appear to love everyone and everything on the planet.
It's also really important that people are honest with the poll, so let's steer away from bashing the results, lest people start to fear their opinion will be attacked and the participation goes down.
