Just to add an experience, when I went for a checkup last week my doctor said that I had some lumps in both of my breasts but that it was probably because my period was due a couple days later and some women get lumpy around their periods. She didn't worry about it and she's a good doctor so I trust her. I'm guessing this isn't the case for you though.
