I'm not sure what to say about Pan's Labyrinth.
I wouldn't be able to give it a rating.
It's definitely intense, and I love the crossings between the fantasy world and reality. If you're squeamish, or don't like violence, this movie has a couple of scenes that will really gross you out. I usually don't mind gore and violence, but this was filmed in such an intense way I felt a bit uncomfortable.
It is a beautiful movie, however. I liked it a lot, and it had been a while since I'd seen a European movie.
