For a first project, thats very good.

If I may point a critical eye to a few things...
Palm Trees: It looks as if you path has crossed over itself on the ends of 2 of the leaves. This can be easily fixed with the white selection arrow and adjusting one handle or the other.
Sun Reflection: Most of the edges are straight, and the corners are hard angles. It would look a lot better if you converted them to curves.

I know getting the hang of smooth curves is tough at first. Keep going!
