Mage by Matt Wagner - should be a trilogy as it shows the evolution of the main character just as Star wars showed the evolution of Luke Skywalker, but I'd settle for just the first one, Mage: The Hero Discovered.
Grendel also by Matt Wagner - would need to be a trilogy, if only one Grendel could be made, i'd want to see the Warchild series. Not to do it as a trilogy would really take away from the evolution of the world's society and the Grendel spirit/legacy...
