Bears fan first, but I'm also a Colts fan. I live in Indiana but closer to Chicago. Plenty like me around. Bears have always had a strong following in northern Indiana, they used to hold training camp at St. Joseph College in Rensselaer about midway between Chicago and Indy. My best friend in Indy has season tickets to Colts games, but he's a diehard Bears fan and will be rooting for the Bears. I think I'd rather have the Bears in the Super Bowl against any team other than the Colts. And vice versa. But Go BEARS, at least I won't be too tore up if they lose. I was in Indy last week for business and the town was electric. Everyone is on top of the world. Its nice to see that much enthusiasm for their team.
My prediction, Bears win because of the D. Their defense comes up strong, really strong. Manning doesn't have a bad day but the Colts entire offense is overwhelmed. Grossman is the wild card, though. He could literally give the game away. I expect to see the Bears run the piss out of the ball with Jones and Benson. Grind out some 8 minute series, maybe settle for a field goal. Keep Manning off the field.
My other prediction is that I'll be hitting the bloody marys at 2 pm.
