Wow, so many people having close calls. This is why I believe that when it is time, it is your time. If it's not, it's a close call such as the ones listed above.
I've seen horrific car accidents that I would have been involved in if I had been driving a little bit faster or slower. I teach in a very high crime area and have been in this neighborhood for a couple years now. People have been shot behind the school and crimes are rampant all around it. So I guess I am in a 'danger' zone.
I don't get too emotional about these situations though. I'm not afraid of death which is different from wanting to die. It just means that I know when it is time, it will happen one way or another.
