The thing is, and street interviews and surveys conducted by the press confirmed this in the wake of the furore, most migrants to English soil couldn't give two hoots about whether the St George's Cross was flown on St George's Day, or during the World Cup (after all, they were all flying their own country's flags), or whether Christmas was called Christmas or X'Mas, or whether schools have nativity plays, or whether faith schools are allowed. It's all bullshit concocted by people terrified of offending anyone at all and or pursuing their own right wing agenda, whatever that may be, and using that excuse to "homogenise" England instead of celebrating its diversity.
