Why is the response to such statements as these applause and cheering? I'm reminded of a scene from
Borat when he stood in the middle of a Texan audience and said "I hope you kill every man, woman and child in Iraq, down to the lizards. And may George W. Bush drink the blood of every man, woman and child in Iraq!" The response to this, of course, was cheering and applause.
How many people in this "democracy" actually think for themselves?
