Shaving issue
No, not that shaving! I'm talking about the face. When I shave everything is very smooth, except my neck. I use a Gillete Sensor Excel and Crabtree & Evelyn shaving soap with a beaver hair brush. For a young one I'm pretty old school. Anyways... I shave down over the face and neck first, rinse, re-apply soap, and then shave across. During the first pass (downward) on the neck, it cuts every time living lots of little nicks. It would appear the neck is bumpy during that pass but for some reason is smooth during the second.
One idea is that I shave right after I get out of the shower, but I'm not sure. Does anybody have any ideas on this or recommendations on how to change my shaving method of my neck.
