Just finished listening to LOVE. Its brilliant. George Martin's genius has obviously been passed on to his son, Giles. No new musical content except for the George Martin composed strings accompanying an acoustic version of While My Guitar Gently Weeps. The entire recording is an acid trip, trying to figure out what pieces of songs or sometimes entire tracks were combined with the song you are currently listening to. Hard to explain although this
website does a decent job of it. Some (actually most) songs take on a new life, Hey Jude for instance becomes much more contemporary. If you're thinking of picking it up and have surround sound, I'd recommend the combo CD/DVD (audio only) package. Listening to this in 5.1 is an
experience.
