Jet Li - Fearless
10/10 (if you're a fan of kung fu movies) - the best Jet Li film ever (and his last). It's the old Wushu style kung-fu movie. Every fight is fabulously choreographed.
The story is more deeply philosophic about a spiritual journey acted and directed with immense sincerity. By "sincerity" I mean that the story isn't just an excuse to string together various fights - it's Jet Li's personal statement about martial arts, violence and making peace. Never has Jet Li played such a flawed, sympathetic and ultimately heroic character. I won't spoil it for you but there were moments in the film that made me cry.
This film has it all .... if you're a fan of kung fu movies.
If you're not a fan of kung fu movies it'd probably be more like 7/10 - because the cinematography is on par with Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon and it's just a good story. But Fearless has a little more depth.

Thus when my eldest son asked me what he should have done, had he been present when I was almost fatally assaulted in 1908, whether he should have run away and seen me killed or whether he should have used his physical force which he could and wanted to use, and defended me, I told him that it was his duty to defend me even by using violence." - Mahatma Ghandi
