My sis and brother-in-law are still without electricity with the added "charm" of a tree through their roof. It doesn't seem to matter that my b-i-l has a medical necessity (late stages diabetes) that requires electricity to power his breathing machine and wheelchair. Fortunately, their next door neighbor has strung an electrical cord to keep those two items recharged and working. Jack and John refuse to stay anywhere other than their home because they need to be close to the hospital and the dialysis center.
Mike and I want to spend Saturday supporting their needs in any way they will allow us. Sheesh, they still intend to have Christmas at their home if the electricity comes back by then.
