It's a little late now, but I generally download all the drivers I think I might possibly need before I reinstall Windows.
What type of PC do you have? Did you build it, or is it a Dell, HP, or something? If it's a manufactured PC, go to the manufacturers website and look up the model to find drivers to download. Download the wireless drivers, burn to a CD, or flash drive of something, and then install the drivers.
To check if your wireless card already has drivers installed. Go to the Start Menu, right click on My Computer and then select Manage. From there go to Device Manager and any devices that do not have drivers installed should show up with a yellow yield sign with an exclamation point. I imagine something like "Wireless Network Adapter", or "Network Adapter" may show up in that list.
I imagine once the adapter is installed you will then have the option to select wireless networks.
