WinXP has a built in Wireless Connection manager. First thing to do is make sure your wireless card is active, then you can get to the manager
- Right click on My Network Places
- Go to Properties
- Right click on Wiress Network Connection
- If it says Enable, then click on Enable
- If it says Disable, then click on View Available Wireless Networks
