My dad had pretty much the same conversation with the credit card companies after my grandpa died. But he went a little further -
"What were you thinking when you offered a credit card to an 86 year old man with no job? This is not my problem."
Suck it Citibank! Just try collecting the $5,000 from an estate worth about 96 cents!
