Unable to use context menu in explorer..
..or file or edit on certain files or folders. I just restored my pc to it's original configuration (xp pro, sp1) and am trying to get it dialed in before I do any updates. When trying to delete a file the computer just thinks forever unless I use task manager to stop explorer, yet I am able to drag the same file to the recycle bin, still using explorer. I'm sure it's related to something I did trying to minimize what's running, but I can't figure out what. I used the Elder Geek site to change the status of some services, so I suspect I goofed something up there. TIA
