It's going to be slightly different in price no matter where you go, there's no retail value that's good everywhere.
They wouldn't let you buy it because they're stupid. Anyone- male or female- 18 years of age or older can purchase it as long as they have a valid form of identification.
72 hours is not a magical fix-all deadline to meet, it's the
maximum amount of time you have to get it done... which means you didn't "make it in time" just because it was 70.5 hours. By "more effective the sooner you take it", they mean "better chance that it works and prevents a pregnancy". 72 hours is 3 days' time... I hope whatever took you 3 whole days to get it was more important than a pregnant girl... though for the life of me, I can't imagine what could possibly fit the bill.
The reason I sound upset is because you asked for information to solve a problem, and then it took you 3 whole days to go buy something that's
readily available to help prevent a pregnancy. It's because you could potentially still be facing a pregnancy, and you're acting like you're in the clear because you bought your girlfriend a
magical potion to end all your worries- and you didn't. You bought a medicine that works best when taken as immediately as possible, and you took almost the entire length of the possible time to get it.
It doesn't matter what the circumstances were, you've now put yourself in danger because you didn't get it in a timely manner- I just hope all goes well and nothing happens.
Good luck.
