Stranger Than Fiction (10/10)
This was a truly great movie. It was funny and moving. The acting and directing were perfect. My wife and I both loved it. Anything else could be considered a spoiler because part of the fun of this movie is the way it slowly reveals its nature.
Spoiler: It was mysterious but at the same time it was set in the middle of normal workdays and normal life issues. It was nothing at all like Office Space or an obscure French movie, though a story outline might make you think so. It was funny and romantic. It was sexy without nudity & action-packed with little on-screen violence. The characters seemed real but heroic; I don't think I will ever forget them. The mythological and cultural references were surprising and often humorous. The ending was exactly what it should be. Stranger Than Fiction had something worthwhile to say and said it well,
and it made me laugh my ass off in the process. I highly recommend going to see it on a date.
