Yeah... and sorting itself out might involve you throttling your doctor! S/he's not the one having to live with this!
I hate hormonal BC. Hate it hate it hate it- because it's pushed so hard as a contraceptive method in the US, overshadowing other options, and because rarely if ever do women realize the far-reaching effects the hormones have on their lives, ESPECIALY their sex lives and libido.
If your BC is not working for you, don't wait a few more months, stop taking it now and look for something else.
I can't recommend any one brand, but I have heard lots of good things about Yasmin- it uses a totally different type of hormone than everything else and has been getting rave reviews. But, like I said, some of the other ladies will have to jump in with opnions about BC because mine is decidedly biased
