Spoiler: The only thing that caught me off guard was the scenes after Le Chiffre was killed. It was almost surreal. Bond wakes up and all of a sudden his girl is in love with him (I know, I know) and the dude he pegged before suddenly gets hauled off in front of him. Why was he even there to begin with? I was thinking maybe that whole scene was a drug-induced hallucination concocted to get the password. Apparently not.

Read the book. Trust me. I'll Fed Ex you mine. You need to read it to get a full understanding. Leave us say that Spoiler:
The organization that employeed Le Chiffre was convinced that Le Chiffre was going to eventually talk to either the Americans or the British, giving up details that would expose said organization. In the book, the organization was SMERSH, the Soviet Union's answer to the CIA. In the original movie (that was never made) it was SPECTER. In this version? We aren't supposed to know yet. All we know is that they are holding Vesper's former lover, they hired Le Chiffre, and they are involved in making money off terror attacks. The next movie will touch on this in depth, I assure you. If you want, I'll send you a copy of the script for Bond 22 as soon as I get it. I should have it in the next 3 months.
I'm very glad that everyone has enjoyed this movie. Don't worry, this thread will have info on Bond 22 as soon as the hype from CR dies down.
James Bond will return....
