Did you answer the question before looking at the spoiler? It is two different questions.
Carno, to some people it makes who you save irrelivent. To others, the fact that you will all die in a few minutes is irrelivent.
My personal favourate answer:
"Save either of them -- which one doesn't matter. Just save one."
and, to the bomb:
"The bomb landing makes no difference. You save someone's life when you can."
