If you think of leagues like sexual swimming pools, where only those in the league are allowed to jump in;
C is out of your league. (They're in different pool than you, and you're not allowed in).
and
You are out of C's league (They're in a different pool than you, and you're not allowed in).
They're interchangeable, and both are derogatory. As far as I'm concerned, leagues are a contrived concept with no basis in reality. People like each other as people, not because they exist in certain "leagues."
