What if Hiro is really Silar? His future self carries a sword. Silar's victims have had their heads sliced open.
He has the power to time travel so he could find out what peoples powers were and come back to when convenient and kill them. He can stop time so he could slice the heads open while time stands still, she died pretty instantly. She was opening a can one second, and bam, suddenly the top of her heads gone.
This could be a huge plot twist that is not really inconsistant with the stuff they've done so far.....
