Having expansions come out twice a year for $19.99 is just the same as having 1 expansion come out after TWO years for $39.99. Most MMOs have expansions way more distributed than WoW.

that's true, I guess I'm really thinking about back in the day when EQ was still actually on roughly one expansion per year, and I guess they had some expansions in the range of $30 too. still, I would expect a metric buttload of content with the expansion, like as much as the original game for the same or nearly the same price, so maybe it'll be different. you'll have to excuse me, any talk about Blizzard's and Vivendi's money gets me fired up.
