S-Video doesn't support audio - what I did to resolve the same issue with my laptop was I used an S-Video cable for video support and
this cable for audio support. As long as your television supports inputs for the left and right channel then it should work fine.
Although I'm sure plenty of other people could provide you with several other (and more convenient) solutions.
