What reactions are you talking about? Are you talking about erections? I modelled for a couple of semesters and NEVER had that particular reaction. Seems a little odd ... even though erections are "normal."

You're in a better position to find out than us. Visit the various colleges in your area to find out.

As for poses, you could take a Tai Chi or ballet class to learn different postures. It's really up to you. You've taken life-drawing (or are taking it) so you could draw upon your experience in the class to come up with poses.
