I was a bit drunk when I was going on about hitting people with a 7 iron.
If i was sober I would have said a butterfly knife. It's just this thing I have.
Next best would be a chrome .44 and a metal bat.
In a tough corner... you might have to make do with hurling your car keys into someone's face from point blank... or if youre lucky a claw hammer....

from my own (perhaps limited) experience. best home defence = a fat man wearing nothing but boxer shorts running screaming out the front door with a cricket bat.
(this only happened one time)
