I agree with many of the posts here: The human mind is the best weapon, as well as in the case of specific situations call for different weapons.
For long range, I loved my M82A1 Light 50.
For medium range, M249 SAW.
For combat action, Colt M16A3 with M203 grenade launcher.
For short, home defense, I LOVE my Ruger P89 (9mm pistol).
For short, close combat, the M1014 Joint Service Shotgun.
