Dogs have had a big influence in my adult life. I never had any growing up or even had friends that did but now, I cant imagine life without one. Specifically Siberian Huskies. Truly magnificent creatures. I believe they are a positive influence on me. After all When you own one and look into there eyes you know that they know. what do they know? well, they know. Another thread on this board is a discussion of chivalry and such but for me I don't live by chivalry or do the right thing or common courtesy. The way I live my life is 'I want to be the man my dog thinks I am' something about the light in there eyes when they look at you..........If you were a dog owner, you'd understand. Yes I sleep with my dog, I even get cranky with her because she dosent like to cuddle. And the best way to bath a large furry beast? Get naked and bring them in the shower with you. Its pointless to try and stay dry so if you cant beat them join them. I used to use my dogs shampoo for myself more then I used my own. My current Husky Natasha goes every where with me even to work. whenever I get a new job I always make a condition of my employment that my dog must be allowed to come to work with me.
I believe having a dog is a big responsibility, you would never leave your 6 yr old child locked up in a cage in your back yard while you went to work or the movies would you?
