Porn is all about profit. Higher profits require lower costs. Bad porn music can be made by one guy on a laptop. Good porn music actually requires one or more musicians, each of whom must be paid. Hence the proliferation of bad porn music.

There's been a move in porn over the last several years to more and more hardcore images. Twenty years ago, just the existence of porn was shocking and arousing. The advent of the internet and the resulting ubiquity of porn has caused some producers to try to distinguish themselves by being more and more "hard"--degradation and humiliation, which were once fairly isolated fetishes, have become more and more prominent in porn. Many performers are rejecting it these days. With any luck we'll see a swing away from this sort of thing.
