ghoastgirl, you gotta go back and talk to the manager! Seriously. Get your money back, and/or get someone *else* to fix your hair.
From now on, go only to someone who comes recommended from a trusted friend who has gone to that stylist for several cuts. If necessary, walk up to someone with a great haircut and ask them where they go--generally folks are only flattered. Don't just go to a place, go to a *person*. Typically there are several people working at a salon, all with varying degrees of talent and ability.
If you got something from a store at a premium price and it didn't work when you got home, you'd have no problem taking it back, right? Haircuts/services are the same.
