got mine at gamestop on pre-order day. the line starting forming about 3 hours before the store opened, the last person to get a console (the 10th)arrived about 30 minutes till open.
i don't think it'll be too hard to find one initially for those willing to make several calls/stops.
didn't pre-order any games though i plan to pick up twilight princess, madden, and monkey ball as soon as i see them.
