Two places to see on the Bund:
1. Peace Hotel
2. Bar Rouge
Bar Rouge is really REALLY nice at night.. it has a rooftop patio and you can look out over the river and across into Pudong. With all the lights and the hot young rich people around you, it's quite the experience.
Also, take a river cruise. Also at night.
