I never had my parents in the room when I had major dental surgery, dunno why just never did. I guess it depends on the dentist and their possible reputation. Ours had been around for a couple decades so he knew what was up, don't go to a storefront dental place next time? I guess kids these days don't brush their teeth too well if they need caps by 5.
