Yes but thats a healthy diet, if you are doing that you don't really need the walking in the first place from a weight stand point.
Burning extra calories is good, but its a LOT easier I'd think to not drink that one can of soda then do a 45 min areobic work out if you are only worried about weight. Health is another mater.
