Just make sure you NEVER brag about the gas milage you get. I had a friend who would constantly brag about how little he payed for gas... then 2hours later would ask me to go drive him to the store/mall/cleaners/etc.
He shut up bragging about how little he spent on gas when I started charging him by the mile. I'm a good friend and all, but I just got sick of fitting the bill because he was too cheap to get his own car (he had the money too).
