That's the point. There was no such thing as keeping score with bracelets until it became some urban legend. As for 'bracelet parties', never heard of them around here; the myth was simply the color you wore signified how far you'd gone. Brought that up to my daughter (whose arms are covered in them and other bracelets) and she promptly cracked up laughing.
