ok, I took a little closer look at the car last night, and the wheels are hitting the tie rods on both sides, I think I've found some wheels that will work. Apparently 4" backspacing was what it came with from the factory. I talked to a guy at a local tire shop and he says he has some wheels that will fit it.
I bought the wheels, they are similar to the factory rally wheels, but they have been powder coated black
They are 14", 5 lug on 4-3/4" centers, w/ 3-1/2" of backspacing. $15.00 each. The good folks at my local Les Shwab hooked me up w/ 4 new 205/75R/14 tires (the factory specified size) for a really good price. I drove her around, and brought her home tonight and no rubbing issues, the car runs and drives like a dream.
